Aims and Scope

Aim

The Asian Journal of Science and Applied Technology (AJSAT) aims to advance scholarly knowledge, technological innovation, and evidence-based applications across applied science, engineering, and technology. The journal provides an international platform for rigorous theoretical, experimental, computational, methodological, and application-oriented research. It publishes studies that contribute to the development, validation, evaluation, and practical application of scientific principles, materials, processes, technologies, and engineering solutions. AJSAT encourages research addressing contemporary industrial, environmental, technological, sustainability, and societal challenges through applied scientific and engineering approaches. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research where the principal contribution is clearly scientific, engineering-based, or technologically substantive. AJSAT seeks to disseminate methodologically sound, scientifically significant, and practically relevant research to an international academic, scientific, engineering, and professional readership.

Interdisciplinary Research

AJSAT welcomes interdisciplinary research where the work demonstrates a clear and substantive scientific, engineering, or technological contribution. Studies integrating multiple disciplines are appropriate when they develop, validate, evaluate, or improve a scientific method, engineering solution, material, process, system, or technology. Manuscripts primarily concerned with general management, business administration, social sciences, humanities, or purely descriptive applications without a clear applied-science or technology contribution are outside the principal scope of the journal.

Originality and Relevance

Submitted manuscripts must present original scholarly work relevant to the stated aims and scope of AJSAT and demonstrate scientific, engineering, methodological, or technological significance. Manuscripts should make a clear contribution through the development, application, validation, evaluation, or improvement of theories, methods, materials, processes, systems, or technologies. Purely descriptive studies or interdisciplinary work without a substantive applied-science, engineering, or technological contribution may be considered outside the journal's editorial scope.
